2. The average MRTD(MRTDav) will be determined from MRTDh and MRTDvas given in Annex B.
3. The MRTDav function must be transformed into three new functions, which are;
a. the MRTDav as a function of the distance for detection (Rdet)
b. the MRTDav as a function of the distance for recognition (Rrec)
C. the MRTDav as a function of the distance for identification (Rid).
The change of variable from spatial frequency(r)into range(R) is done by using the following formulae;
