Clause 10 Sea trials:
- Description of a test target (design, measurements, colour, temperature etc),
- definition of the environment conditions,
- definition of how the target has to be detected,
- definition of possible corrections.
It would be desirable, if tests could be undertaken in laboratories as far as possible.
To find worldwide acceptance, it has to be ensured, that the tests are reproducible.
3) The secretariat will distribute the proposals to the WG by 1999-04-10.
4) Next meeting date will be 1999-04-26/27.
5) The outcome of the next meeting will be sent as ISO/WD 16273 Rev. 5 to IMO-NAV 45 by June.
This will take some time, because the official way is: this secretariat will send it to ISO/TC 8/SC 6 secretariat in Japan, they will send it to ISO-Central Secretariat and they will sent it to IMO.
Kind regards
