PROGRAMME MANAGEMENT
To maintain a proactive programme management the following actions are required as a minimum：
・ Each SC Chairman and Secretariat will insure that their portions of 8 N 1000 are maintained current with updates at least each six months, just prior to ISO/TC8 AG meetings.
・ Target dates are to be established by each SC Secretariat for all work items. These will be reviewed at each AG meeting.
・ The status of 8 N 1000 will be reviewed at each AG meeting and the progress of items will be assessed.
・ SC Chairmen and Secretariats will insure that work items in their portion of the TC8 Work Programme comply with the time limits for the development of ISO Standards. They must not exceed those specified by the timetable in TMB Communique No. 5 of July 1998 promulgated by ISO Central Secretariat. Attention is invited to TMB Resolution 55/1998 (TMB Meeting 1998-6-2/3) regarding late work items.
・ TC and SC Chairmen will follow-up with non-performing P members.
・ SC Secretaries will insure quality of drafts/documents-editing and proper formatting.
