Its copies without booklet with EN standards were sent to secretariat of ISO/TC 8 and to secretariat of CEN/TC 15 too).
At this moment secretariat of SC 7 has available EN 1305, EN 1306, EN 1864, EN 12339 and prEN 12827 (April 1987), prEN1914 (December 1996); EN 1864, 1305, 1306 and 12239 were sent to secretariat of SC 7 by secretariat of CEN/TC 15 by the letter dated 1998-06-23.
In order to settle the question concerning receiving the rest of EN standards (EN 526 711, 790, 929, 1255, 1502, 1914) been of interest for secretariat of SC 7, as well as prEN12827 (1998), secretariat of SC 7 offers to make a request to secretariat of CEN/TC 15 in September 1998 for sending to its adress copies of these EN standards and prEN 12239 (1998).
At the same time secretariat of SC 7 will send to secretariat of CEN/TC 15 a copy of report of progress of work in SC 7 to the 17th plenary meeting of ISO/TC 8 in Munich.
When receiving EN standards the secretariat of SC 7 will circulate them to the members of SC 7 for discussing a possibility of their adoption as ISO standards. Nevertheless, in case of positive solution of majority of P-members of SC 7 in respect of expediency of adoption in ISO of such EN standards secretariat of SC 7 will continue to consider that setting up of Working Group on approving of EN standards as ISO standards in proposed by SC 7 membership is necessary, because the secretariat of SC 7 (as well as the most of P-members of PC 7 -not members of CEN) have not CEN standards mentioned in Annex B to the doc. ISO/TC 8/AG N 505 and others EN standards, which are connected with, or which can be connected with the standards of CEN/TC 15.
