The 30,838-dwt Laker Size bulk carrier, GOLDEN LAKER was delivered by Naikai Zosen Corporation in September, 1996 to the order of Royal Admiralty Lines, S.A. of Panama. The ship is the Laker Size bulk carrier recently designed by Naikai Zosen Corporation.

　

Design Features

-The cargo space is divided into five holds with topside tanks, of which No. 3 hold has side ballast tanks under topside tanks, which make it possible not to use cargo holds as ballast tanks.

-Four sets of 25t electro-hydraulic single type deck cranes make cargo handling more efficient.

-The ship is equipped with electro-hydraulic end folding hatch covers. The hatch cover for No. 1 is 18.75m long and 11.48m wide while those for others are 20.00m long and 11.48m wide.
