4,999-dwt White Petroleum Product Carrier SAKURA MARU
The 4,999-dwt white petroleum products carrier, SAKURA MARU was delivered to K.K. Uyeno Unyu Shokai by Naikai Zosen Corporation in March, 1996.
The ship serves in greater coasting area and is designed applying Vec-Twin rudder and automatic cargo loading/unloading system which is developed by "Future Tankre Project" organized by "All Japan Coastal Tanker Owner's Association".
Design Features
-The ship is equipped with Vec- Twin rudder and better maneuver- ability.
-Two sets of cargo pumps are driven by the main engine through the slipping clutches of Niigata Converter Co., Ltd. and the capacity of the cargo pumps is controlled by them which makes it possible to dispense with a stripping pump.
-Cargo piping system is so designed that two kinds of cargo can be loaded or unloaded simultaneously.
-Semi-automatic cargo loading/unloading system is applied and cargo can be unloaded to the full stripping automatically.
