・The propulsion system consisting of four sets of marine diesel engines and waterjet units provides excellent maneuverability and quick, easy operation.
・The large deck area, a special feature of catamarans, allows design and layout flexibility to meet varying requirements. SEA BIRD has two passenger decks, one has sitting spaces on carpet and chairs, and the other has a bus drivers' room and a recreation room for special use.
・Auto pilot system and automated machinery control for safe navigation by a reduced number of crew are provided. The main engines, waterjet propulsion units, and other auxiliaries are remotely controlled and monitored in the wheelhouse. A watchkeeping system by TV camera is provided. TV cameras are in the engine rooms, on the vehicle deck and mooring spots and TV monitors are in the wheelhouse.
