Perinatal mortality was down to 5.3/1,000 and maternal mortality to 7.4/100,000 which is highly commendable. This has come about because of excellent total health care, outstanding perinatal care for mothers, and neonatal care for infants of a people who care and with a comprehensive health care system of private and governmental fiscal support which covers all individuals.
