1.1.2.4.1 Scenario-1:Delivery via contracted Service Provider
The uplink routing logic of the service providers DSP is such that this scenario will apply under three conditions:
1.If VHF is active then delivery will be attempted via VHF.
2.If VHF is active and delivery is not successful and the aircraft is a contracted user and is logged-on to the service providers satellite service, delivery will be attempted via satellite.
3.If VHF is not active and the aircraft is a contracted user and is logged-on to the service providers satellite service then delivery, will only be attempted via satellite.
1.1.2.4.2 Scenario-2:First delivery attempt via contracted Service Provider and second attempt via alternate Service Provider.
This scenario will apply under two conditions:
1.VHF is active and the first attempt at delivery is not successful and the aircraft is a contracted satellite user of the alternate service provider.
2.VHF is active and the first attempt at delivery is not successful and recent media advisory messages indicate that the aircraft has established satellite communications via the alternate service provider.
1.1.2.4.3 Scenario-3:First delivery attempt via alternate Service Provider.
This scenario will apply under the following condition.
1.Recently received media advisory messages indicate that the aircraft is using the air-ground facilities of the alternate service provider and the delivery attempt is successful.
1.1.2.4.4 Scenario-4:First delivery attempt via alternate Service Provider and second attempt via another Service Privider.
