Annual passing gross tonnage can be calculated for 2011 & 2021 as about 24 million ton/year/track.

Accordingly for the track oondition of UIC54 rail,200mm ballast thickness,100t/m pandrol rail pad,PC sleeper of spacing of 71.4〜83.3cm, and for the LRV train (axle weight of 14.6 ton), the following results can be obtained.
Considering the above results of rail stress, all sleeper spacings of 83.3 cm,76.9 cm and 71.4 cm may be allowed for supporting the LRV train running.
For cost review work, we adopt a=71.4cm (namely 1400pieces/km).
