Eun Mi Lee started singing downtown (ghettos) in 1988. The following year, she participated in the making of As the Fog Blown by the Wind, the third album of the group Shin Chon Blues.
She recorded her first album entitled in Memory in 1992. At the end of the year, she held her first solo concert at the Kae Mong Art Hall and recorded a pop album consisting of her favorite pop songs. She recorded This Longing, her second album, in 1993.
After two years, she recorded a live album entitled Cool & Hot.
Recently, Eun Mi Lee participated in making an album in dedication to Shin, Jong Hyun entitled Spring Rain.
To date, Eun Mi Lee has performed in more that a hundred solo concerts and countless music festivals. She is considered to be one of, if not, the best live female concert performers.
