Guitarists, composer and producer Naomi has provided characteristic and global melodies since being a member of Zelda, one of the most representative female bands in Japan.

Until Zelda stopped their activities in 1996, not only did she play guitar in the band but also wrote various kinds of songs for the band.

Naomi expresses her feeling in her work, through the filter of herself, seeking any good sounds and rhythms from around the world.

Sayoko started her career in music at the age of 15, when she joined the band Zelda as its vocalist. After 15 remarkable years with the band, Sayoko established her solo career with the single "Ue-o Muite Aruko [Sukiyaki]", one of the best know Japanese songs, which was recorded in Jamaica.

Sayoko's talent for lyric-writing can be heard in any of Zelda's hit numbers. Being, definitely, the pioneer of female band vocalists in Japan, Sayoko expands her interests and activities abroad, particularly together with reggae musicians in Jamaica and London.
