Born in Hong Kong in 1974, Billy Chan grew up in a musical family. His father was the drummer of Teddy Robin & The Playboys, a reknowned Hong Kong band in the late 60's. As young as he can remember, he began to hang out with musicians in night clubs.

At 13, Billy learned how to play the organ and won the Yamaha Organ Contest. Two years later, he picked up piano-playing and entered the Royal School. At 17, Billy entered the Trinity College of Music and got his first song published at the age of 18.

 

1996 to 1997 was an important period in Billy's life. He spent 12 months studying and performing at the Berklee College of Music in Boston under the guidance of jazz pianist, Ray Satisi.

Back in Hong Kong, he was appointed band leader for a concert of the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra featuring local diva Priscilla Chan.

Besides writing and arranging for pop albums, he has also started doing commercial jingle production and is keen on developing his interest in film scoring.

After graduating in 1991 with a Social Work Degree, Wyman Wong decided not to join the social welfare sector, and instead, became a radio DJ/Host. His sensitivity, wit and humor quickly made him the most popular DJ personality in numerous listeners' polls. But he wanted to speak to his audience in another way.

He started writing lyrics for recording artists in 1995. His karaoke hit, "You Would Not Have a Good Ending" was performed by Amanda Lee and won the Best Chinese (Pop) Lyrics Award. In 1996, another chart topper of his, "Second Best Love" sung by Leo Ku, was awarded the Most Performed Cantonese Pop Work on TV and Radio.

Wyman's lyrics have a style of their own. Simple yet deep. The topic is common yet the angle is unique. His lyrics speak his mind and personality.

In 1989, Edmond Leung began his singing career when he won first prize in the 8th New Talent Singing Contest. Capital Artists Ltd. signed him up and he became one of their major artists.

Edmond released his first solo album in 1991. His young looks and sweet personality gave Hong Kong a new and fresh star. His third solo album, I Don't Want To Be Alone was released in March 1994 and sold over 70,000units. He received a Platinum Award for his fourth album Fist Collection.

The songs "Sentimental Game", "Love Once In A Lifetime" and "In First Place" are smash hits and are frequently sung at karaokes.

In 1996, Edmond received his third Platinum Award for the album Breathe which contained the hit song "Love and Passion". In 1997, his album Steal Kisses broke his previous record and was awarded a Double Platinum Award. Edmond has released a total of 8 solo albums to date.
