Thank you for all
At first, we have to say thank you to Sasakawa Memorial Foundation. It gave us such a great chance to see WHO, JICA and Pillipines, In our schools,we learn limitted medical subjects. We never study international relationship. And now, so many students want to know what happen in the world. Of course, it includes WHO and JICA activities.
Some medical schools have an exchange programme between Japan and South-East Asian countries. In this programme, we could get a really good opportunity to study about health. We studied how important to work for health, Well-known doctors and teachers gave us useful lectures. That inspired us very much'
In future, we have to work for everybody's health. It is not only in our own
country but also all over the world. Especially in WHO and in JICA, we learned so many things that we never learned in Japan.
In addition to it, we knew the health care system in Philippines. It was different from Japanese one. We compared them and discussed which was better or which had to be changed. Of course, it is impossible to say which one is definately a good one.
At last, we came back Japan to tell what we saw in Philippines, Some
students reported about this programme on the internet and on the computer
network. Another students are going to do paper presentation at International
Health Conference in July.
Thank you very much for your hospitalities.
