(2) Preparation of revised original plans of JISF
and JMS (Japan Marine Standards) |
|
|
|
(2) Revised original plans for the following JISF and JMS
are prepared. 1. To attempt further fulfillment of content of standards, revised
original plans are prepared for 30 standards that concern correspondence with
developing internationalization, ship safety, marine leisure and strengthening
the industry base. |
2. International standardization activities related
to ships (The Foundation Support) |
|
|
Standard Committee |
2. Revised original plans of 4 JIMs are prepared. |
(1) Deliberation on original plan for international
standards |
|
|
|
(1) To reflect our country opinions on international standards,
opinions are given and replies made to ISO, IEC as international standard original
plans. |
(2) Attending international conferences |
|
|
|
(2) A total of 10 international conferences such as ISO/TC8
(special committee on ship and ocean technology), ISO/TC8/AG (a consultative group)
etc., are attended and our country's opinions given. |
(3) Preparation and proposal of international
standard original plans |
|
|
|
(3) To reflect our country's opinions on the international
standard original plan, international standard original plans are made in the
areas of 14 standards such as 'bow direction control devices for high-speed ships'
and 'joint machine with ISO A class and B class magnetic compasses,' etc., and
an assignment as the country of origin of ISO/TC8/SC6 and SC9 is carried out. |
3. International standardization of STEP related
to ships (The Foundation Support) |
|
|
Standard Committee |
Together with investigation into international standardization
on STEP, information is gathered and STEP is discussed by attending conferences
such as the ISO/TC184/SC4 (committee on production application data and language
literary course) conference and the international workshop conference. |
4. ISO/TC8 country of business origin (The Foundation
Support) |
|
|
Standard Committee |
To rapidly and efficiently promote the activities of ISO/TC8
(Technical committee on shipbuilding and ocean technology), technical and management
duties in the whole plan, observing reporting progress and so on is securely carried
out by attending plenary meetings such as the those of the decision-making body
of TC8, a consultative group meeting (AG meeting) and so on. And, there is negotiation
with the ISO central bureau and contact with the TC8 related group and so on to
progress with the above tasks. |
