6 性能検査
6.1 検査項目及び順序
回転計の検査は、次の項目及び順序によって同一品について行う。ただし、※印が付けてある検査項目については、同一製造業者の同一設計による最初の製品について行い、次回以降のものについては、省略することができる。
なお、c）〜f）の検査は、回転計を正規の取付状態に取り付けて行う。

6.2 構造検査
4構造の規定に適合しなければならない。
6.3 釣合い検査
釣合い検査は、5.1の規定によって行い、それに適合しなければならない。
6.4 摩擦検査
摩擦検査は、5.2規定によって行い、それに適合しなければならない。
6.5 指示精度検査
指示精度検査は、5.3の規定によって行い、それに適合しなければならない。
6.6 制動検査
制動検査は、5.4の規定によって行い、それに適合しなければならない。
6.7 零位検査
零位検査は、5.5の規定によって行い、それに適合しなければならない。
6.8 信号変換器出力電圧検査
信号変換器出力電圧検査は、5.6の規定によって行い、それに適合しなければならない。
6.9 信号交換器出力電圧精度検査
信号変換器出力電圧精度検査は、5.7の規定によって行い、それに適合しなければならない。
6.10 電源変動検査
電源変動検査は、5.8の規定によって行い、それに適合しなければならない。
6.11 絶縁抵抗検査
絶縁抵抗検査は、5.9の規定によって行い、それに適合しなければならない。
6.12 耐電圧検査
耐電圧検査は、5.10の規定によって行い、それに適合しなければならない。
7.1 Construction
The construction of the propeller shaft revolution indicators shall conform to the requirements specified in clause 4.
7.2 Environmental tests
Unless otherwise stated in this standard, all the tests shall be carried out according to the requirement of IEC 60945. The manufacturer shall determine which components of Propeller shaft revolution indicators will be protected or exposed, as defined in IEC 60945.
7.3 Performance test
The performance test shall be carried out in accordance with 6 and shall satisfy the requirements specified there in.
When the rate of turn indicators provide interface facilities, they shall meet the appropriate international marine interface standard from within the IEC 61162 series.
Each unit of the propeller shaft revolution indicators shall be marked with the following:
- identification of the manufacturer,
- equipment type number or model identification under which it was type tested,
- serial number of the unit.
- revolution speed, voltage and current of generator (Excepting electronic type)
The voltage, current and rotational speed (number of revolutions per minute) of generator shall signify the maximum scale of the receiver.
Each unit of the equipment shall be marked with, the minimum safe distance at which it may be mounted from safe distance of magnetic compass (for a unit installed in the bridge).
The safe distance shall be measured in accordance with IEC 60945.
Information shall be provided to enable competent members of a craft's crew to operate and maintain the equipment efficiently.
