ACTIVE-CATS: Network composition Z Peller total control system
 The conventional"control and monitoring system" has been independent each other between control and monitoring system, and the complex system configuration like the repetition of the sensor and wiring etc was common and general.
 This system is a highly efficient control (various controls of the main engine, the clutch, Z peller and the sequence operation)and the monitoring system or monitoring system in network connected by simplified wiring and the sensor.
 Each PCB (printed circuit board)which composes the starboard, the port, control system, and the monitoring system operates independently, and even if an abnormal occurs on certain PCB by any chance, the influence to other PCB is the structures which decrease as much as possible.
 As the touch type LCD (liquid crystal display)is adopted on the screen, and the screen operation is displayed in the guidance type, everyone can easily operate it.
 The display screens of pressure and the temperature, etc. are visually images as for an analog meter for easy understanding, displaying graphically.
 Also, the network is adopted, and it excels also in the extendibility of the system.

Composition
 The entire system shares data by the network, and is suppressing the sensor etc. minimum to necessary. Moreover, it is made to control individually in each PCB and the reduction of the trouble is aimed at.
(1) W/H Display controller PCB
 Each switch input, the Pilot Lamp output, and the buzzer output with the bridge control board are controlled.
(2) ZP steering controller (PCB)
 In this PCB, the automatic steering speed control function, the function of the turn around the shortcut, and the auto-pilot interface function, etc. are provided.
 In Z peller steering control PCB, there are a servo valve type and a proportion valve type, and it is a selection by the specification of the steering hydraulic power unit.
(3) Main engine & clutch controller (PCB)
 The main engine and the clutch (slipping clutch of the Omega type and the electronic control type, etc. is included) are controlled.
(4) Sequence controller (PCB)
 The sequence operation of the automatic start of a maneuvering of the main engine, a warning control, a display control, and preliminary pumps etc. is controlled.
(5) Monitor sensor input board (PCB)
 Sensor readings such as pressure transmitters and thermo-couples are input.
 The input sensor reading transmits data to the monitor control PCB via network by the digital porcess.
(6) Monitor with each PCB via network, and Z peller angle, the main engine controller (PCB)
 It communicates speed, the temperature, and pressure, etc. are monitored in real time.
(7) Liquid crystal display equipment (Touch panel type color liquid crystal display)
 The display of the state of the engine and Z peller and warning and the command are input.
(8) Printer
 A state, a warning generation item, and various commands etc. of the engine and Z peller are printed.
 There are a manual print, a print at the regular time, and an alarm print, etc. as a print mode.
(9) CPP controller (PCB) (It is necessary for the CPP ship)
 The variable pitch propeller is controlled.
 The control mode includes the normal mode and the fire fighting mode.
