　2001年5月7日より25日までのNGO委員会定例会で、貴会の4年おきの報告書(最新版)に注目する決定が行われましたことを謹んでお知らせいたします。

　この決定は本委員会の報告書に記載され、承認を得るために経済社会理事会の次期本会議(暫定的な予定では2001年7月にジュネーブにて開催)に提出されることを心にお留め戴きたく存じます。

　国連のシステムが新しい千年紀の課題に対応する努力を続ける一方で、NGOが国連の仕事の中で非常に重要な役割を担うものと私たちは確信しております。

　また、貴会が経済社会理事会を支えるそのご活躍を継続されるよう願ってやみません。

　We are pleased to inform you that the Committee on Non-Governmental Organizations at its 2001 Regular Session, on 7 to 25 May 2001, decided to take note of your latest quadrennial report.

　Please note that this decision will be included in the Committee's report and submitted for approval to the Economic and Social Council at its forthcoming session, tentatively scheduled for July 2001 in Geneva.

　As the United Nations system continues to meet the challenges of the new millennium, we believe that non-governmental organizations will have a crucial role to play in the work of the United Nations and would like to encourage your organization to continue its work in support of the Economic and Social Council.

　平成13年5月9日付貴信銀第18号(以下「申請書」という。)で申請のあった平成13年度国際開発協力関係民間公益団体補助金については、補助金等に係る予算の執行の適正化に関する法律(昭和30年法律第179号、以下「適正化法」という。)第6条第1項の規定により、下記のとおり交付することを決定したので、適正化法第8条の規定により通知する。
