Activity of the Correspondence Group between fourth and fifth sessions of the Sub-Committee
3 In the Correspondence Group, between fourth and fifth sessions of the Sub-Committee, documents were circulated three times to investigate and consider the issues related to the items 1 and 2 in the terms of reference. The progress report was submitted to the fifth session of the Sub-Committee as DSC 5/5/8.
4 Through the investigation and consideration, the materials suitable for the evaluation of the liquefaction potential test were nominated as follows:
・ Carol Lake iron ore concentrate; and
・ Copper concentrate, Zinc concentrate or Lead concentrate
・ Granulated slags;
・ Sedimentary Galena;
Activity of the Correspondence Group between fifth and sixth sessions of the Sub-Committee
5 In the Correspondence Group, between fifth and sixth sessions of the Sub-Committee, documents were circulated three times:
.1 to confirm the task of the Correspondence Group and request for sending the samples;
.2 to circulate the results of the tests; and
.3 to check the draft report.
The tests were carried out by Poland and Japan. Japan would like to thank Poland again for their excellent work.
