社団法人 海外運輸協力協会は昭和48年発足以来、会員並びに関係の皆様方のご支援を得て、運輸分野における海外コンサルタント活動の発展・促進に努めて参りました。
また近年は、国土交通省、日本財団等関係機関のご協力、ご指導の下に、運輸分野における国際協力の総合的な調査・研究に努めております。
現今の地球的規模の環境問題を抱えながら、開発途上国の発展を考えることには大変難しい問題があります。
私共は途上国の立場にたって、環境と共立する発展を考えて行かなければならないと思います。
わが国のODA予算も厳しい状況に向かっておりますが、当協会は、今後とも会員各位と共に技術向上に努め、国際協力の推進に努力してゆきたいと考えます。

Since its foundation in 1973, the Japan Transport Cooperation Association (JTCA) has promoted international consulting activities for improvement of transport infrastructure in the developing countries. JTCA also has been playing a major role in international multifaceted development projects and the research of transport infrastructure in cooperation with the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and the Nippon Foundation and other organizations.
We seriously consider harmony between the development and the environment when we extend our assistance to the developing countries in improving transport infrastructure.
Noting that the budget of Japanese Official Development Assistance has reduced under the severe situation of the national budget, we have to improve our consulting capability for the international cooperation. We would like to ask our members and all those people who are involved in this program to extend their support as ever.
