Born in Tokyo in 1964. He received M.A. degree from Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music. His remarkable performance at theatres, including Konnyaku-za are critically much acclaimed. His primary works as a composer are 'Concerto for Shakuhachi, Koto with 20 strings and orchestra', 'the Book of Psalms, the 49th', opera 'the life of Galilei', 'In the shade of an orange tree 'for mixed voices, 'twelve preludes' for piano. He released many CDs of ensembles and his accompaniment, addition to his solo CD 'The children of Dionyso(DIONYSIA).
A graduate of Toho Gakuen School of Music and of the Master course at Lyon Conservatory of Music. He studied under MIURA Midori , Pierre Pommpie. In 1992, he won the 1st prize and the special award at the 4th Takarazuka BEGA Competittion. He plays for chamber music and solo recitals, and has played a lot of contemporary works including their premieres. He has been invited to play in Hungary by Hungary Brordcast, and in Korea. Born in 1951. He was instructed by Ohara Yasumasa. After he won the first prize at The International Guitar Competition in 1971, he has carried out performance activities mainly of contemporary works from both Japan and abroad. He was rewarded the Nakajima Kenzo Award in 1994, the Asahi Contemporary Music Award in 1996. At present, his activities are extended to premieres, ensembles, recordings, conduction, instruction and others as well as his solo recitals. The music director of Ensemble Nomade.
A graduate of Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music. She won the first prize at the Duo division in the 11th Japan Harp Competition, in 1999. She studied harp under Shinozaki Ayako, Hata Sonoko. Inoue Mieko and ensemble under Yukawa Kazuo. Now she is a member of Ensemble Kochi.
After his graduation from Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music, he studied in the United States and Europe. He had been a member of The New Japan Philharmonic Orchestra for ten years since 1972. In that year, he organized 'the Ark', a distinguished performance group for contemporary music, together with TAKAHASHI Aki and KOIZUMI Hiroshi. He was the recipient of the first NAKAJIMA Kenzo Prize in 1983 and he has performed in major music festivals in Berlin, Warsaw, and many other cities as a soloist and in ensemble. He released his CD (Aiolos Label) in 1992.
Born in Nara. She graduated from Doshisha Women's University in 1994 and finished diploma course next year. In 1997, she came to the finalist at the 46th Munich International Music Competition, and gave her recital in 1998. In 1999, she won the grand prix at the 16th Japan Wind and Percussion Competition and the special prize by judges, the Tokyo governor Award, the Minister of Education Award at the same time.
