YMCA障害児プロジェクト(CCP)
心身に障害がある子どもたちのために全国のYMCAで実施されるキャンプをはじめ様々なプログラムを財政的に支援するためのプロジェクトとして、全国10ヶ所での「YMACAチャリティラン」と「FCSCテャリティイベント」を開催しています。
―YMCA障害児プロジェクトの目的―
(1) キャンプ活動や野外交流をとおして、障害のある子どもたちの自信と自立し学ぶ力を育て、その成長を支援する。また障害者用設備を整える。
(2) 障害の有無、国籍などを越えた若者の交流キャンプや、ボランティア、スタッフ育成のための経験・研修機会を与えることにより、違いを自然に受け容れる心と差別のない社会づくりを支援する。
YMCA Challenged Children Project (CCP)
Since 1953, the YMCAs of Japan have organized camps and programs for physically and mentally challenged children. To support these programs, the Challenged Children Project, consisting of 10 local YMCA charity runs and FCSC charity events, was created.
Goals of CCP
(1) To support the development of challenged children through camp activities and fellowship in the outdoors; the development of self-confidence and skills for independent living and learning; and support of facilities for the challenged.
(2) To support and promote integration into and acceptance by mainstream society through the holding of friendship camps for challenged and non-challenged, and Japanese and international youth; and by providing experience and training for current and future volunteers and professionals.
