Article 64-2. The provisions under Article 2 to 4 of the Administrative Procedure Law (Law No.88, 1993) are not applied on the proceedings and administrative guidance under this Law.
(Limitation for Appeal of Objection)
Article 64-3. No objection under the Administrative Appeal Inquiry Law (No. 160, 1962) shall be raised to any action taken by this Law.
(Administrative Fine)
Article 65. A person who falls under any of the following items shall be punished with an administrative fine not exceeding three thousand (3,000) yen in accordance with the provisions of the Law of Procedure in Non-Contentious Matters:
(1) A person who fails to present himself in court as an Examinee summoned repeatedly by a Marine Accidents Inquiry Agency without justifiable reason;
(2) A person who fails to present himself in court or to acquit himself of his duty as a witness, an expert witness, an interpreter or a translator summoned by a Marine Accidents Inquiry Agency without justifiable reason;
(3) A person who refused, obstructed or evaded the inspection of a Marine Accidents Inquiry Agency;
(4) A person who fails to submit books, doucuments or other articles, or who submits those with false entries orderd by a Marine Accidents Inquiry Agency.
(Administrative Fine)
Article 66. A person who has failed to comply with the Presiding Judge's order under Article 37, paragraph 2 shall be punished with an administrative fine not exceeding one thousand (1,000) yen in accordance with the provisions of the Law of Procedure in Non-Contentious Matters.
