(Change of Jurisdiction)

Article 21. A Commissioner or an Examinee may request a change of jurisdiction of a case as provided for by Order to the High Marine Accidents Inquiry Agency.

2. In case that the request as prescribed in paragraph 1 is made, when the convenience of the inquiry is deemed, the High Marine Accidents Inquiry Agency may make change the jurisdiction by means of a ruling.

(Change of Organization)

Article 21-2. The Judge, conducting an inquiry alone as prescribed in Article 16, the proviso of paragraph 1, if the case is deemed to be inappropriate in conducting an inquiry by a single Judge, may render a ruling to conduct the inquiry by a collegiate court as prescribed in the principal clause of the same.

(Delegation to Order)

Article 22. Matters related to the management of the office works of the Marine Accidents Inquiry Agency shall be provided for by Order.

 

 

Chapter III. Counseller

(Selection of Counsellor)

Article 23. An Examinee may select his Counsellor as provided for by Order.

(Authority of Counsellor)

Article 24. A Counsellor may independently perform the acts provided for by Order in addition to those prescribed in this Law.

(Selection of Counsellor; Qualification and Registry of Marine Counsellor)

Article 25. The Counsellor shall be selected from among those who registered as Marine Counsellors at the High Marine Accidents Inquiry Agency, except in case that the License permitted by the Marine Accidents Inquiry Agency.

2. Matters in connection with qualification and registry of Marine Counsellor shall be prescribed for by Order.
