下染屋囃子連

　

府中囃子は、長い歴史と伝統を持つふるさと府中の郷土芸能です。府中囃子には、目黒流と船橋流の二つの流派があり、大国魂神社を中心にして西側が目黒流、東側が船橋流に分かれています。囃子が府中市に伝承された年代ははっきりしませんが、古くから大国魂神社の祭礼に奉納されていたようです。目黒と船橋の二流派による演奏は、江戸時代に完成されたものと考えられ、この二流派の名称はともにそれぞれの発祥地目黒、千歳船橋の地名から名付けられたものです。府中囃子の曲名は、二流派とも屋台、鎌倉、国堅、師調目、印旛の五曲から編成されています。にぎやかさを特徴とする目黒流に対して、船橋流の優雅さとそれぞれに特徴があり、楽しいものです。

Shimozomeya Hayashiren

　

Fuchu Hayashi has a long history as native folk art of Fuchu,Tokyo. Fuchu Hayashi(Hayashi-sacred Shinto music and dancing) has two schools named after the local regions：Meguro and Funabashi schools. Performances by the two schools are believed to have been constructed during the Edo period(1603-1867). They each have different characteristics,Meguro school performances are more cheerful and lively,whereas Funabashi school performances tend to be more elegant.
