Q-11 Advantages in esophageal speech class

 

I am planning to begin the practice of esophageal speech. The other day, a class teacher advised me that I should study in an esophageal speech class. What are the advantages?

 

A-11 The sense of group togetherness is a big help. Speech instruction is conducted with kindness and thoughtfulness. You can make friends with many people.

 

There are rare cases of people who studied on their own and became proficient using only a textbook. This, however, takes an extraordinarily strong will, and such cases are quite rare and few in number. I recommend that most people attend the esophageal speech class and be advised by instructors.

 

Take the speech classes of the Ginrei-Kai of Tokyo for instance.

There are four levels, that is, introductory (newcomers), beginners', intermediate, and advanced, in which students are given speech training by individual instructors, all of whom have undergone the same trying experience which you now face.

The rate of success registers approximately 70%.

 

In order to strengthen the sense of togetherness and identification among those undergoing laryngeotomy, these instructors listen to students, sufferings, cheer them up' and instruct them with kindness and thoughtfulness. Instructors sometimes talk about their own stories of failure and
