April 12, 2006: Sasakawa Memorial Health Foundation (SMHF) released funds to WHO Regional Office for the Western Pacific (WPRO) in order to support the Schistosomiasis and Helminth Control Program in Cambodia

　

April 23 - May 7, 2006: Prof. Hajime Matsuda and Dr. Masashi Kirinoki visited Cambodia to offer technical assistance to the Schistosomiasis and Helminth Control Program.

　

July 4-8, 2006: Dr. Atsuhide Takesue attended the Lymphatic Filariasis Program Managers Meeting in Jakarta, Indonesia, organized by WHO Regional Office for South-East Asia (SEARO)

　

October 16, 2006: The first meeting of the committee on the Parasitic Diseases Control Programs was held at SMHF.

　

November 20, 2006 - February 14, 2007: Dr. Takesue visited Timor-Leste to offer technical assistance to the National Program to Eliminate Lymphatic Filariasis in Timor-Leste.

　

December 12-21, 2006: Prof. Matsuda visited Cambodia to offer technical assistance to the Schistosomiasis and Helminth Control Program.

　

January 12-22, 2007: Prof. Tamotsu Kanazawa visited Laos and Cambodia to participate in field research on Schistosomiasis.

　

January 31, 2007: SMHF released funds to SEARO in order to support the elimination of Lymphatic Filariasis and control of intestinal parasitic infections in Timor-Leste.

　

March 12, 2007: The second meeting of the committee on the Parasitic Diseases Control

Programs was held at SMHF.
