5. CONCLUSION
The authors have developed a simulator which simulates the operation behavior of offshore oil production, storage, and offloading based on discrete event modeling method. The conclusions of this study are summarized as follows.
・Developed simulation methods are effective for design of an overall offshore system.
・An analysis using the method was applied to a real offshore oil field, and its effectiveness was confirmed.
・An elevation of installation of DPS using the method was successfully conducted.
The further study should be focused on optimization of design of the overall offshore system. The authors have developed basic simulation method by which optimization to minimize an evaluation function under plural constraints of equality and inequality in discrete event system[7]. Application to offshore system will be possible in the practical level.
