5.7.4 moulded_form_functional_definition (IS-4.2.65)
moulded_form_functional_definitionは、船の部分機能を定義するfunctional_definition(IS-4.2.39)タイプであり、そしてそれらはmoulded_form（IS-4.2.61 参照）の基本機能により定義されている。 moulded_form_design_definitionを構成するデータは、次のようなものである。

5.7.4.1 defined_for (IS-4.2.65.1)
defined_forは、moulded_form_functional_definitionが定義されるためのmoulded_formsを指定する。そしてそれらはmoulded_form_functional_definitionのために一つ以上のmoulded_formが存在する。
5.7.4.2 the_function (IS-4.2.65.2)
the_functionは、moulded_form_functional_definitionが定義されるために、moulded_ formの機能を指定する。

5.7.4.2.1 appendage (IS-4.2.65.2.1)
船の性能を向上させるため、船体外板表面に追加されたパーツ。
A part that is added to the ship hull outer surface to improve the properties of the ship.
