Maritime Security
Maritime security is dependent on the international exchange of information concerning ships, cargo, and people.
 
The primary limitation of information exchange is not computer or communications technology but lack of a common understanding about the meaning of the data.

ISO 15849 Guidelines for the Implementation of a fleet management system network.-Published
 
ISO 16917 Data transfer standards for maritime,intermodal transportation and security.- PAS Approved being published, also DIS Approved
