Plant_item_connector_occurrenceは他のPlant_item上の接続の属性のような集まりあるいは接続となるPlant_item（原文4.2.285 参照）の物理的な特徴であるPlant_item_connector（原文4.2.290 参照）の一タイプである。いずれのPlant_item_connector_occurrenceも次のいずれかになる。Functional_connector（原文4.2.140 参照）あるいはPhysical_connector（原文4.2.259 参照）。

Plant_item_locationはPlant（原文4.2.283 参照）内のPlant_item（原文4.2.285 参照）の位置を示す。
Plant_itemの位置は 参照先座標系の座標軸とPlant_item上の点の平行移動および回転移動の変換として示される。いずれのPlant_item_locationはLocation_in_building（原文4.2.234 参照）、Location_in_plant（原文4.2.235 参照）、Location_in_site（原文4.2.236 参照）、あるいはRelative_item_location（原文4.2.324 参照）のいずれかになる。
