This document has been prepared by The Tokyo Foundation's Scholarship Division for circulation to all of the participants in the SYLFF administrators' meeting, that was convened in Tokyo from December 9 through 12, 2002, and to the chairpersons of all 65 SYLFF Steering Committees. It is a report of the proceedings and is intended to facilitate participants' reporting back to their institutions, notably their respective SYLFF Steering Committees, and to serve as a reference for intra- and inter-university discussion and ongoing dialog with the foundation.
