 The Presentation will appear in the following pages.
 In the presentation, the WMU Sasakawa Fellows mentioned the necessity of network building. They also made suggestions on the framework and description of activities of the network building.
 
2. Introducing the activity of some WMU alumni association by regional members
 Subsequently, the following persons introduced the activities the existing alumni association and current WMU students related to the network and made some comments on the three challenges of network building - communication problems, lack of time and ensuring commitment.

3. Free discussion with participation from the floor
 For the finale, the fellows' ideas on network building in the form of a free discussion. The following 8 persons have some comments on the future role, activities and expansion of the network.

 To explain more specifically, Mr. Olanda of the Philippines stressed the need for WMU to take lead in providing information that will be carried by the Fellows' Network. Capt. Zafar of Pakistan expressed his hope that the Fellows' Network be utilized "dynamically" to exchange not only general information and ideas but also technical knowledge and expertise.
 
 Latin American Fellows expressed their apprehension about the difficulty of establishing and maintaining country/regional networks in those countries, due to small membership. In response to this, Ms. Malaluan of the Philippines recounted that the central network with SOF as its hub will help isolated local networks to share information and expertise through the operation of the central website. She emphasized the importance of establishing links among the Fellows, expecting WMU and SOF to provide necessary assistance to this end.
 
Country-wise Group Discussion
East Africa (Egypt, Kenya, Tanzania), West Africa (Ghana, Liberia, Nigeria), Bangladesh, Cambodia, China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Myanmar, Pakistan, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Vietnam, Pacific(Fiji, Kiribati, Micronesia, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Tonga), Europe (Georgia, Lithuania, Ukraine), Latin America & Caribbean (Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Honduras, Jamaica, Mexico, Panama, Peru)
 
 Representatives from the above-mentioned 18 countries, divided into districts conducted discussions and handed in a paper based on the Task of Each Regional Network Meeting, which was circulated by the Secretariat.
