12. PRESENT ISSUES AND CHALLENGES
Sport for All is doing well in Finland. However, there is a problem when organizing Sport for All in the national sports governing bodies. Originally, these sports organizations were established for competitive sports activities. In fact, this is not the problem for Sport for All movement in Finland, but it is a problem for these particular organizations. Without their own Sport for All programs these national sports organizations are going to lose a very important part of their social and political importance in the society.
