JAWA POWER 45,248-dwt Bulk Carrier
The 45,248-dwt JAWA POWER, 100th vessel in the series of TESS 45 handymax bulk carriers, was delivered in October 1999 to PSI Bulk Shipping Pte.Ltd.by Tsuneishi Shipbuilding Co., Ltd.
Features
1. The TESS 45 handymax bulk carrier is so designed that to have ample deadweight and hold capacity, convenient stowage arrangement of cargo holds are made to accommodate bulk cargoes, and two bays of 42-foot cargoes. Heavy bulk cargoes can be loaded alternately in holds Nos.1, 3 and 5; and 15-ton hot rolled coils can be loaded in all holds up to two-tiers.
2. Wide and long enough cargo hatch covers of hydraulically operated, end-folding and flat-top type are provided.
3. Hatch opening size: 20.00 m x 15.30 m for No.1 and 20.80 m x 15.30 m for No.2-No.5.
4. The vessel is equipped with four (4) electrical driven 4-rope grab-type deck crane of 25 tons, in addition to one (1) bow thruster.
5. To comply with DNV and E0 classification standard, unmanned engine room machinery system is provided.
