PACIFIC LIBRA 99,998-dwt Crude Oil Tanker
The 99,998-dwt type PACIFIC LIBRA was delivered in September 1999 to Pacific Lily Shipping S.A.by Tsuneishi Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. as a double-hull crude oil tanker.
Features
1. Cargo oil tank space is divided into seven (7) compartments with transverse bulkheads, viz., six (6) center cargo oil tanks each divided into two (2) center line longitudinal bulkheads, and slop tank space divided into two (2) tanks with center line longitudinal bulkhead.
2. The cargo handling system of three (3) segregated groups is arranged. Cargo oil is handled by three (3) steam turbine driven cargo oil pumps (2,500 m3/h with self stripping devices.
3. Emergency towing equipment is already arranged and also a vapour emission control system and inerting system for water ballast tanks is arranged.
