NEW CIRCASSIA 306,009-dwt Double-Hull VLCC
NEW CIRCASSIA for Golden Tide Corporation was delivered on March 24,1999, at Nagasaki Shipyard & Machinery Works of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. (MHI).
The NEW CIRCASSIA is one of the new generation double-hull VLCCs which have been developed with the latest MHI ship designing and shipbuilding technologies.
For safe and easy navigation, the wheelhouse arrangement and navigation equipment have been designed in compliance with "NAV1" notation of LRS. For safe and reliable operation, machinery equipment and outfittings are designed and arranged in compliance with "UMS" notation of LR.
Energy saving with higher speed and lower fuel oil consumption is achieved by means of MHI's latest technology, including Mitsubishi Reaction Fin, etc.
Shell plating of upper deck for cargo oil tanks is designed "ShipRight ES + 1 (DECK)" notation of LR.
Vapor recovery system is provided for flexible cargo handling operation.
