Hitomi Furukawa, a graduate from the Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music, studied the flute with Keiko Hyuga, Yoko Kikuchi, Hiroshi Koizumi, and Tsuyoshi Koizumi; and the chamber music with Fritz Henker, and Ryohei Nakagawa. She was awarded in the 4th Flute Convention Competition. She is a member of Kanazawa Flute Harmonique , the Performers' Group "Musi-Can". Musica gelato, and the Flute Ensemble "Qu'est que c'est. She took part in the recording session of "the Nutcracker" by the Musica Gelato.
Akiko Watanabe, born in Tokyo, began the flute when she was ten. She graduated from the Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music and its Graduate School. She has been quite active in performing in a lot of ensembles since she was a college student. She is also an arranger, and some of her works have been published and recorded onto CD. She is the arranger and the representative of Ensemble gelato and a member of Musrca Anrede.

東京芸術大学大学院およびGuildhall School of Music and Drama、London大学院修了。これまでに作品がアジア音楽祭、東京の夏音楽祭、Spitalfields音楽祭等で演奏されたほか、Vallentino Bucchi国際作曲コンクール、文化庁舞台芸術創作奨励特別賞、朝日作曲賞、国立劇場作曲コンクールなどに入選・入賞。日本作曲家協議会、日本電子音楽協会、TEMPUS NOVUM、Ensemble Contemporaryα、日本音楽集団の各会員として作曲・指揮・演奏会の企画制作。上野学園短期大学、昭和音楽大学、東京芸術大学、桐朋学園大学各講師。

Majored in composition at the Tokyo University of Fine Arts and Music and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, London. His pieces have been performed at several music festivals such as The Spitalfields Music Festival, The All Japan Band Festival, and The Tokyo-no-natsu music festival while he has won several prizes including The Valentio Bucchi International Composition Competition prize in Rome, The JACA Award for Theater Arts, and The National theatre Award. A Member of The Japan Federation of Composers(JFC), Tempus Novum. The Japan Electronic Music Society. Ensemble Contemporary a, and Promusica Nipponia, as a composer, conducter, and director.
