Born in 1977. She graduated from Dosisha Women's university in 2000 and now she is studying at the diploma course. She was selected to play at the graduate concert, and awarded the special prize for the best player in the 16th debut concert of Japan Percussion Society. She studied under Kitagawa Ko, Nakatani Mitsuru, FukuYama Naoko, and Yamaguchi Yasunori.
Born in 1966, Kanagawa. Master's degree, Tokyo University of Fine Arts and Music, Conducting Dept. Studied under Prof. K.YAMADA, Y.MATSUO. Later studied at Hochschule der Kunste, Berlin as a scholar of the Rotary International Foundation. Conducting many various Japanese orchestras, (Gunma Sym, Orch, Hiroshima Sym. Orch., Tokyo Phil., New Japan Phil., Tokyo City Phil. etc.) and so many Operas. 1994, won the Honorable Mention (Prize) at Tokyo International Music Competition for Conducting. 1997-1998, a guest student at "Deutsche Oper Berlin".
In 1995, graduated with his MA from the Tokyo University of Fine Arts and Music, majoring in conducting . The same year, won the 3rd prize in the 47th Prague Spring International Music Festival and conducted the Prague Broadcast Philharmonic Orchestra. Amongst of various orchestras he conducted are there Tokyo Metropolitan Orchestra. Tokyo City Philharmonic Orchestra, Orchestra Ensemble Kanazawa.
Sakamoto studied music in the University of Music of Tokyo till 1978. He continued his study in Zurich Conservatoire, majored in the orchestra conducting, choral conducting and religious music. As trainee in the Zurich Opera, he was appointed to assistant of the institution. He studied in the class of F. Reitner, F.Eggermann. On coming back to Japan, he started his musical activity in the Opera of Japan where he conducts various Japanese pieces as well as Western pieces. Now, he teaches in the University of Music of Tokyo and also its Conservatoire.
