YEH Tsung started to play the piano at five. From 1979 he began to study conduction at Shanghai Music Academy. He won a scholarship without repayment, and studied at Manns Music Academy in New York. In 1981 he received a bachelor's degree. From 1983 he studied in Yale University with the aim of receiving a master's degree. Currently he is a musical director in South Bend Symphony Orchestra and Northwest Indrana Symphony Orchestra.
Born in Tokyo. Tetsuko is the daughter of a celebrated violinist who served as a concert master for the prestigious NHK Symphony Orchestra. She graduated from Tokyo Collage of Music, where she majored in opera. Widly popular Ms. Kuroyanagi was voted Japan s favorite TV personality 14 times and won the Cultural Broadcasting Award, the highest television honour, for her daily TV talk show "Tetsuko's Room", which she has hosted since 1976. She is also a best-selling author, having written more than ten books Her "Totto-chan, the Little Girl at the Window," has sold more than 7 million copies a publishing record in Japan.
Born in 1949. In 1965 he became a pupil of Mansaku Nomura. He plays an active part as a Kyogen Master of medium standing and performed not only "Tsurigitsune" at National Noh Theater in 1987, but also other great plays. Besides classic Kyogen, he performed "Clarimonde" written by T.Gautier
(translation by Akutagawa Ryunosuke), by himself. He gave a continuous performance of "Katarimono" from Heike Tale. He lively tries to appear in new works and produce them. He is nominated to possess National Cultural Properties.
Born in 1987. He studied under Mansaku Nomura and his father. Since he started his career at three years old in the stage "Utsubazaru", he has experienced lot of important stages as a child performer, and participated in overseas stages many times. Now he is in the first year of Junior High School.
The Japan Shinsei Symphony Orchestra was founded in 1969 as the first self-management orchestra in Japan, and its enthusiastic activities gave a favorable impression to classical music society. Since April 2000, under a new conductor they are aiming for a greater musical growth. They crown the late Kazuo Yamada as Perpetual Honor Adviser. They appoint Ondrej Lenard as Principal Guest Conductor and Adviser of Fine Arts, Pascal Verrot as Principal Conductor, Shigeo Genda as Conductor and Chosei Komatsu as Main Conductor.
