In 1952 Lim Hun-Joung was born in South Korea. After he acquired a master's degree at Seoul University, he continued to study at Manns Music Academy and Juilliard School of Music in the US. He won the Grand-Prix at the 14th Don-A music contest, and now his activity at Seoul Youth Symphony, Yuk Yong Foundation and Child Museum join, is also highly estimated. In 1985 he returned to South Korea and was appointed as a professor at Seoul University. In 1989 he was inaugurated as a supervisor of Puchon Symphony Orchestra.
In 1946 Tokyo Symphony Orchestra was founded in the name of Toho Symphony Orchestra. In 1951 the name was changed to Tokyo Symphony Orchestra. Hidemaro Konoe and Hitoshi Ueda were previous conductors of TSO. Since 1964 Kazuyoshi Akiyama has been both Principal Conductor and Music Director. In 1991 Naoto Ohtomo was inaugurated as Resident Conductor and in 1994 Norichlka Iimori was inaugurated as Conductor. Since October 1999 Hubert Soudant has been Principal Guest Conductor.
In 1963, born in Ranshou at Gansu Province, China. As the most excellent student of the year in 1984, she graduated from China Shenyang Music Academy, Violin Department in the Faculty of Orchestra, and acquired the Degree of Doctor in Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music. After she came to Japan, she gave a lot of concerts as a messenger of cultural interchange between Japan and China. She is highly estimated especially as the specialist in research and the performer of Ma Sicong. Currently she is a guest researcher at Tokyo National University of Fine Arts & Music.

Awards: 1996.12: 1st Piace in "Debut in Meran" International Voice Competition, Italy. 1996.08: Awarded Valedlctorian Scholarship from Salzburger Summer Akademie, Austria.
