THE JAPAN INSTITUTION OF MARINE ENGINEERING was established in April 1966. Its principal interest is in the development of the science, technology and practice in the fild of the marine machinery plant. It includes about 2600 members, home and abroad, consisting of experts and engineers belonging to research organizations, shipyards and shipowners companies, engine and machinery manufacturing firms, as well as university professors, students, marine engineers of officers, etc. Each member receives monthly JOURNAL OF THE JAPAN INSTITUTION OF MARINE ENGINEERING (Japanese Edition) upon payment of the annual membership fee.
