Fig.7.8 Fundamental Principle of Mono-Screw Pump (Detailed sectional view of rotor and stator)
3] The discharge quantity determined by the general particulars of pump (such as rotor diameter, etc.) and rotating speed. The rotor diameter is provided from 5mm (minimum) to 200mm (maximum). The discharge quantity can be set up from 2 mI/mn (minimum) to 400m 3/h (maximum) by controlling the rotor rotating speed. The discharge pressure is concerned with length of rotor and stator, maximum 10 MPa. Any NEMO pump provides the powerful suction capacity of 8.5 m static suction head water column, and can suck the liquid strongly without using auxiliary unit such as check valve, vacuum tank, etc.

As mentioned above, mono-screw pump has been integrated with the electric motor and become more compact. It is expected that mono-screw pump is used extensively in future. Especially it will be used to transfer waste oil or bilge in a vessel, further more used to transfer the mixture of oil and water to the oil separator, feed some conditioner constantly, transfer the injurant and flammable liquid without leakage, etc.
