2. BASIC CONCEPT
This is a system that supports the transportation management work to connect mobiles (ships and trucks) system and management system on land by the use of satellite packet communication and mobile packet communication.
In the mobile system, the function reporting position and condition of the mobiles are included. Moreover, it has a voice input/output function for operation. In transportation management system, a function displaying the mobile's position on the electronic map and sending a mobile order to mobiles and planning of cargo are included.
The system configuration is shown in Fig.2.
