3.1 Mixture with PE

The combustion test results for the mixture of DMA with PE and RME25with PE are shown in Table 2. The range of the mixing ratio of PE for the lower viscosity fuel DMA is from 5.0 to 20.0 percent, and for the higher viscosity fuel RME25 is from 2.5 to 7.5 percent. The reason for the RME25 plus PE is to avoid the excessive viscosity reduction of the mixture.

3.2 Mixture with PP

The combustion test results for the mixture of DMA with PP and RME25 with PP are shown in Table 3. The range of the mixing ratio of PP for DMA is from 5.0 to 20.0 percent, and for RME25 it is from 2.5 to 7.5 percent. The reason for the higher viscosity fuel is as same as the above 3.1.

4. CONSIDERATION

4.1 Mixture with PE

4.1.1 DMA with PE

Regarding the ignition delay of the mixture of DMA and PE, it shows a slight change, approximately 5 percent shorter, in comparison with the one of base oil itself. But on the maximum pressure (Pmax.), and the time to Pmax., there is no significant difference, respectively. Regarding the precision index (S) of the mixtures is slightly better on the ignition delay and the maximum pressure, but it is slightly worse on the time to Pmax.

It seems that there is some less stable condition on the combustion time.
