Scope

 

The Sixth International Symposium on Marine Engineering Tokyo 2000 (ISME TOKYO 2000) is organized by the Marine Engineering Society in Japan, and will he held From Monday, 23rd October through Friday, 27th October at Nippon Toshi Center Kaikan in central Tokyo.

The Symposium to present state-of-the-art technical information on various aspects in the progress and future of marine engineering focusing on the theme "Expectations for the Emergence and Development of New Technologies in Marine Engineering" and provide participants with an opportunity to exchange ideas and promote friendship.

More than 150 excellent papers will be presented which deal with problems actually encountered by the shipping industries and marine engineers. The participants will have ample opportunity to play an active role in the technical discussions.
