Exception Report from the Secretariat of ISO/TC8/SC7
1.1.2 In 2000 the P-members of SC7 began a systematic review of 22 standards of ISO/TC8/SC7 on ISO/CS initiative (according to Form 20 ISO). These 22 standards include 9 standards developed by former USSR, 4 - by former Czechslovakia, 4 - by Poland, 3 - by USA, 2 - by United Kingdom:
USSR: ISO 3786: 1975, ISO 3926: 1980, ISO 4175: 1979, ISO 6216: 1980, ISO 6765: 1985, ISO 7255: 1985, ISO 7608: 1985, ISO 8303: 1984, ISO 8304: 1984;
Czechslovakia: ISO 3652: 1975, ISO 4051: 1977, ISO 4085: 1979, ISO 4089: 1979;
Poland: ISO 21: 1985, ISO 4127-1: 1979, ISO 4127-2: 1980, ISO 7607: 1984;
USA: ISO 6764: 1985, ISO 7221: 1984, ISO 7222: 1985;
United Kingdom: ISO 6766: 1984, ISO 9382: 1990.
The secretariat of SC7 will receive results of this review apparently at the end of 2000.
1.1.3 In connection with the mistaken inclusion of revision (90.92) of standard [07.04] ISO 3674: 1976 from 1999-02-19 into the doc. ISO/TC8 N 936, this standard did not get into the list of standards of SC7 to be reviewed in 2000 (it was confirmed in 1995) and now it shall be included, in the secretariat of SC7 opinion, into the review in 2001. Accodingly, in doc. ISO/TC8 N 936 the next items shall be excluded:
ISO 3674: 1976 (90.92) and ISO/AWI 3674-0.
The secretariat of SC7 had already addressed to the ISO/CS on this subject (to Mr. Abram)(a letter nr. ISO/TC 8/SC7 N 1 dated 2000-01-24). Copy of this letter we have also sent to the secretariat of ISO/TC8.
1.1.4 The secretariat or SC7 has addressed to the ISO/CS several times and noted it in the reports of SC7 for the meetings of ISO/TC8 (1998 and 1999) and for the meetings of the Advisory Group of ISO/TC8 (1998 and 1999) in order that the ISO/CS would include ISO 3372: 1975 and ISO 3913: 1977+Add. 1: 1980 into the review (these addresses to the ISO/CS were made beginning from 1996). In 2000 these standards also were not included into the list of standards of SC7 being reviewed in 2000. They need be included now into the review in 2001
1.2 On the items 5.1 and 5.2
1.2.1 The secretariat of SC7 addressed several times to the ISO/CS with the matter of including into the second review of 4 standards of SC7 (according to Form 20 ISO) which are in the review from 1997 (90.60): ISO 3335: 1977, ISO 3948: 1977, ISO 4000: 1977, ISO 6217: 1982.
