9. Any other matters of importance to ISO/TC8
The Marine Machinery Association, the Organisation representing the USA for ANSI as Secretariat of ISO/TC8/SC3, will no longer serve in that role as of 2000-06-01. At the fifth annual meeting of SC3, the U.S. P-member representative stated that the USA will continue to fill the position of Secretariat, but no arrangement has been made to fill the position of SC3 Secretariat on 2000-06-01. Therefore, we regret to report that the position of SC3 Secretariat is likely to be vacant as of 2000-06-01.
