Then, the SC9 Secretariat submitted, to the ISO/TMB, its reply as follows:
(a) The text of ISO/DIS 15016 includes many formulas, figures, etc., so it took a lot of time to prepare a template of the text of DIS 15016 in accordance with the requirements by ISO/CS. Related documents such as the templated one have been sent to ISO/CS, which crossed ISO/TMB's request this time for the submission of the reason.
The SC9 Secretariat replied that it hoped for the continuation of the item, because the preparation work of the draft text had been proceeding, although there was some delay in the work/
Afterwards, ISO/CS put the text to DIS voting.
(b) With regard to ISO/CD 19018, following the result of NWIP voting, it has been approved that the discussion of the draft text should be performed from the CD stage, jumping the WD stage.
The SC9 Secretariat has received the text of CD 19018 from Germany, the proposer country, and has put it to CD voting. According to ISO/CS's data, the target date of CD is 2001-04-19, so this item is not to be identified as a late work item.
Therefore, the SC 9 Secretariat hopes for the continuation of the item.
(c) With regard to ISO/WD 19019, the consideration of the draft text is being carried out through document exchange by mail under Mr. Campos, convener of this item, with the CEN side in lead in accordance with the Vienua Agreement.
It is planned that the SC9/WG4 Gdansk meeting to be held on 23 October this year will discuss the draft text CD 1901.
On the other hand, according to ISO/CS's data, the target date of the CD is 2001-04-30, so this item is not to be identified as a late work item.
Therefore, the SC9 Secretariat hopes for the continuation of the item.
For the moment the secretariat has not received a reply from the ISO/TMB.
In addition, the consideration of the draft text of ISO/CD 17357 Ships and marine technology - Floating pneumatic rubber fender [09.23] is progressing in a satisfactory condition, and the item is not identified as a late work item. Subsequent to the CD voting, it was approved that the draft text consideration next time should be carried out on DIS 17357.
