Having considered the above results of reviewing of 22 standards of SC7 in 2000, the secretariat of SC7 decided to approve all 22 standards for the next 5 years. The secretariat of SC7 was compiled to make such decision: only four P-members of SC7 have sent their ballot paper (forms 20 ISO) in which they approved all 22 standards of SC7 being under reviewing in 2000, whereas the other seven P-members didn't send their results of reviewing of these 22 standards of SC7 for the present, though all P-member bodies had obligatory to inform the secretariat of SC7 of the results of considering by them standards of SC7 being under reviewing in 2000 till 30 June 2000. In September 2000 the secretariat of SC7 will inform the ISO Central Secretariat of its decision to approve all 22 standards of SC7 having been under reviewing in 2000 for the next 5 years.
Taking into consideration that the secretariat of ISO/TC8, when preparing to the plenary meeting of ISO/TC8 in Gdansk. Poland (October 2000), will carry out distribution of reports of the secretariats of subcommittees of ISO/TC8 among P-member bodies of ISO/TC8, so all P-member bodies of SC7 will be informed automatically of decision made by the secretariat of SC7 according to the results of review of standards in 2000, in spite of that more than half of countries - P-member bodies of SC7 didn't take part in voting.
5.4 Published standards to be reviewed in 2001 (in opinion of secretariat of SC 7) (14):
(07.02) ISO 3372:1975 - was in revision from 1986 to 1995 (work item ISO/DIS 3372 withdrawn in 1995); in 1996 or 1997 standard had to be included for periodical review, but it hadn't. It is necessary for ISO/CS to include its review in 2001; to be withdrawn.
(07.04) ISO 3674:1976 - reconfirmed in 1995 but was not reviewed in 2000
(07.07) ISO 3913:1977 + Add.1:1980 - was in revision from 1986 to 1995 (work item ISO/CD 3913 withdrawn in 1995); in 1996 or 1997 standard and Add.1 had to be included for periodical review, but it hadn't. It is necessary for ISO/CS to include its review in 2001; to be withdrawn.
